Eric Mwengei Bosire

Eric Bosire has been appointed editor, AfricaWorld News Kenya, the first since the newspaper took off in the east African hub. Eric, currently managing editor, will take up his new office on 1st September in Nairobi.

Joining Dublin based AfricaWorld News as a volunteer, Eric showed sterling qualities as a reporter and managing editor of the newly opened Kenya outreach, hence his elevation to the new office. In the AfricaWorld News management’s campaign to open up the African continent and empower its youths, Eric Bosire has shown leadership. He is a graduate of media and communication from the Kisii University and Nairobi Aviation School, Kenya.

His appointment was announced last weekend to the AfricaWorld News Board of Managing Editors (Heads of operations in countries) by editor-in-chief, Ukachukwu Okorie. In announcing the appointment of Eric Bosire as editor AfricaWorld News Kenya to his colleagues, he lauded the for showing “organizational abilities and knack for news”.
